Yep, Another solar eclipse discussion. It looks weird outside. I can see the sun still but its only at 50% right now. This morning mylot was down for me, who knows maybe everyone went out to watch the eclipse and it just went on like dead air. How is your day?

Day is going fine so far. Almost 8am here in Manila. It rained really hard earlier causing classes to be suspended in most cities. Followed the eclipse through social media. It would have been better if I could have seen in it person but I'm halfway across the world so no bueno!

I joined the millions across the US. We got to 60% here. I was able to see it through the special glasses while I was at the laundromat. It was fantastic! I also got some pictures off the TV when I got home.

Could be beautiful to watch; but use sunglasses for protection.

Went shopping this morning, got some things ready for the mail. Almost lunchtime, but Mom went to sleep in her chair, so I'm going out to see if she's still asleep. To overcast here to see the sun or much else, even if I had the fancy glasses to look.

It has been interesting here. The whole thing began at 9 AM or so and we had some glasses so we checked it out periodically and watched a lot of it on TV. Our temps dropped about 15 degrees. We are at 99% of totality so it got pretty dark for a few moments.

i am always interested in any astronomical phenomenon, eclipse is just one. you are blessed to have actually experienced it. the last solar eclipse i remember was about 20 years ago. have you seen the sun being like a crescent moon?

Nothing seems to go right here, at my end. Must be because of the Eclipse!

I remeber seeing one as a child. We used the old camera film strips so we could look at it as it happens. Haha.. some used pails filled with water so they dont have to look at it directly.
