Old Legendary Bangladeshi Actor Is No More

Nayak Raj Razzak, who passed away on Monday, has been laid to rest at Banani Graveyard in Dhaka on Wednesday.The scheduled burial of the actor on Tuesday afternoon was pushed back by twelve hours so that his son Bappi could attend. Bappi was staying in Canada on Monday when his father breathed his last.
Although primarily Bappi’s arrival was unsure, he managed to get a ticket to Bangladesh later.
Earlier on Tuesday, Dhallywood industry, family, acquaintances and fans have bidden farewell to their beloved hero Razzak.
Razzak’s body was taken to his favorite work place, BFDC, at first where a fair level of security was provided. His colleagues, subordinates as well as fans appeared at FDC rain-soaked to pay homage. His first janaza was held there, attended by Ferdous, Nasrin, Shabnur, Bobita, Suchanda, Ilias Kanchan, Shakib Khan, Jaya Ahsan, Champa as well as members of the joint cultural association and artiste’s association among others from the film fraternity. Minister of Information Hasanul Haque Inu, Minister of Road Transport & Bridges Obaidul Quader, Minister of Commerce Tofael Ahmed and Minister of Cultural Affairs Asaduzzaman Noor were also present at FDC.
Then his body was taken to the Central Shaheed Minar at around 12:30 AM for the people of all walks of life to pay tributes.
Notably, Abdur Razzak, popularly known as Nayak Raj Razzak, passed away on Monday afternoon around 6:15 PM at United Hospital at the age of 75. He suffered from pneumonia and old-age complications.
The iconic silver screen phenomena is survived by his wife and four children.
