Songs featured in film "It's a Jungle Out There" - Randy Newman / "Monk" TV Series

Here's a new idea I had - I will write about songs I enjoy that were featured in movies or TV.  To kick this off I bring you "It's A Jungle Out There" by Randy Newman.  This song was featured as the opening theme for "Monk" from seasons 2-8.  About the song: "If you paid attention you'd be worried too" - lyrics from "It's a Jungle Out There".  This jaunty , acoustic driven jingle has addictive lyrics that are perfect for the TV show it was paired with.  I relate to the lyrics, as I have OCD.   About the TV show:  Monk was once a brilliant police officer, until he suffered a personal tragedy - the murder of his wife, which is he constantly working on solving.  He has become vastly neurotic with his various OCD compulsions, but he is still brilliant at solving crimes by putting together various seemingly unrelated clues and - when the situation demands it - he can even pull himself together and do many courageous actions.  There is the obvious mystery and there is humor as well - done in an appropriate fashion - I was not offended and I have OCD.   Song:
