Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series! / myLot

I think the Jack Ryan series from Tom Clancy's novels is one of the best spy themed novels. I liked how the characters have developed through the years. But my favorite character in the book is John Clark..He' s one bad-ass mo..f.. Can any of you suggest other novels with the same theme/genre?
