I need the money

My naughty tutee stop tutoring with me but his sister and him left a balance. His mother ask for it and promise to pay but up to now they are not paying me. They total 15 hours session with me and it cost 975 pesos. I;m shy to ask for my payment but I shouldn't be. I don't know why when someone owes me a money it's me who feel shy asking for payment when it's my right. Those who owe me should feel shame they are not paying as expected. I hope they remember to pay me

Just turn your ways around and ask for the money. I know that is a hard thing to do but you put out your time and effort and you deserve your money. Some day I will share a saying that I have when I try to give advice but we haven't known each other that long so I will wait.

They are taking you for granted, I hope they really pay you on time. It's not easy when your teaching them online and all that effort goes in vain if you don't get paid. I'd rather find better students if they don't pay up.

That's true they are not serious in paying me since I stop my service to them. But I will text them later

@averygirl72 I'm sure there are better clients out there, sorry I couldn't be much of help.

@Letranknight2015 I think of that too. I would find better clients if I just wait and look for it

I would have a hard time asking for the money as well. Maybe there is a way for you to ask casually.

I think in future you need to collect the money and then give the lesson.

@averygirl72 In the worst case you will have learned a valuable lesson and I suppose you could report them somewhere.

They should feel bad for not paying you. I would say something to them.

It is never easy to ask for money. Perhaps you can ask in a nice way, like if they are able to pay instead of "Where is my payment?" It is not easy, but you can't do all this work for free, that isn't fair.

Yes it's not fair. I did my job and I deserve to be paid. Hope I have the courage to ask

You should be paid, maybe you can try sending a bill. As a result of this problem maybe you should consider having people pay for each session in advance.

That sucks. If they can't afford to pay you, it is their fault, they shouldn't have asked for your service. Hopefully they have that money, but you'd better remind them. They agreed on paying you, so they should pay. And yes, they're the ones who have to be ashamed. Did you tutor for 15 hours straight? I would ask for payment every time I go tutor.

Since they stop tutoring they could have forgotten that they owe me a money. After one month I will contact them and remind them that they need to pay me

This is really bad. They should have been paying you before each lesson
