I am sure you have heard of the old saying "You cannot win them all." Now James Cameron who has directed blockbuster movies like "Avatar" and "Titanic" is not fan of Patty Jenkins blockbuster movie "Wonder Woman" since the character that Gal Gadot played was not his version of a female character should be according to his view of the world. Okay as a baby boomer I prefer Lynda Carter's version of Wonder Woman since she did not need a shield to battle her enemies. I just wonder why the humanoids make such a big deal over a fictional character that was created by William Moulton Marston. Maybe Patty would be wise to tell James "Opinions are like cheeks and noses. Everybody has one." Case closed.

This sounds to me like a male trying to protect his territory. Of course everyone knows you can't please everyone. Personally I didn't care for Avatar, and really don't see what all the hype was about.

Same thing with the hype for the Wonder Woman movie since the Lynda Carter version she did not use a sword in battle or wear a skirt.

I remember actor Carl Weathers who played the role of Apollo Creed in the Rocky Balboa movies said in an interview that If he been the director of the Rocky movies, he would give Rocky Balboa a more upbeat character instead of a quiet person.

This wonder woman version of his firm seems better than the last movie, at least...

I heard that the Patty Jenkins Wonder Woman movie was really good, Maybe James is jealous that Patty Jenkins is getting praised for being the next great movie director.

I read that and thought what was that? A filmmaker criticizing another? How come women filmmakers aren't up in arms over his comments? Could it be because he's ultra liberal thus exempt from return criticism?

It could be since the rule in the entertainment industry is when a conservative calls out a liberal, the conservative voice is shut down by their enemies.
