I know the weekend has arrived

How can I tell? The bars in this town are all within a block or two of me and I hear the motorcycles and loud vehicles as they come in to town and then head back to the bigger town. They noise doesn't bother me as they bring back many memories. From about 3 pm on Friday afternoon until around 8 pm on Sunday I see many motorcycles cruising into town. Most of them I know exactly where they are going. I have gotten to know many of these people and they honk as they go by. I love it.

So the motorcycles announce the weekend in your neighborhood and they are probably as dependent as the rooster that crows as the beginning of the day. Have a good weekend!

We do have motorcycles that show up during the week but come Friday night there are tons of them, I love it though cause I used to ride. How is your weekend going?

@velvet53 Did you drive it yourself or did you ride on one? Saturday turned out to a beautiful day and so I was outside enjoying most of the day. How was your Saturday?

@1hopefulman I owned and rode my own motorcycle. I do miss those days but the things I see anymore I am happy not owning one. Now I will go for a ride with someone else at times. It has been a great Saturday. I did a few things that I haven't wanted to do for awhile. The weather was beautiful so that made the day that much better.

The bars become alive on weekends! I used to go to one every Friday night, but now I'm too exhausted, I just want to sleep on a Friday evening. I've become old.

I go over to the one every once in awhile but it is earlier and not at night. I sometimes meet some friends on Tuesdays but I am back home before six.

@toniganzon That is a good idea. There is a really neat restaurant right next to the bar that serves great food. Once in a while if I meet my friend at the bar (right next door to the restaurant) then we will go over and have a bite to eat. They have a nice little bar there too. I just don't go out much and I am lucky that I can walk to these places.

It is funny how that happens with the motorcycles. Many of them I met at the little bar they go to. It is an old laid back bar and I feel comfortable when I go there, which isn't very often.
