I though I´d reach my new goal today.

Gambler as I am, I´m always wanting to reach potlucks. And after I reached $5 (not my goal) I reached for my goal of $10. It turned out that I reached it too soon, so now I´m aiming at $15.
I thought That today it would be the day. But Murphy´s Laws always appear where I am.
First internet went down. I accepted it, as I haven´t finished watching Call the midwife. But, of course, Netflix and cable TV were down too. Well, I said, I´ll make a phone call to my daughter. As it was, the phone was also mute.
So I had to clean the kitchen to feel useful and then use my very own pacifier: an old book that I have read many times.
What do you do when all the normal ways of entertainment fail? Do you have goals here?

This problem has nothing to do with electricity, but with the provider of phone, internet and cable TV.

Yes I read somethings that I have printed out as I don´t have any books at all right now and its high time I got to remedy that.
For that I need the cash I have not got.

Where I live, new books are very expensive. But there are shops where they sell old books for little money.

No chance of that Margi not even in Logroño where there are quite a few bookshops and they sell them all new.
They do that in England on the Markets that are outdoors.

When internet fails I spend the time playing with my kids or cleaning if that needs to be done. =)

For me, it is another way of playing. The truth be told, the amount of money I earn here is too little to be counted. The friends I have are the important assets of the site.

I have never used a treadle sewing machine. One of my grandmas had one. I wonder where it is!

@marguicha I learned to sew on my mother's treadle. I purchased an old, beat up treadle at a garage sale that I used off and on for 30 years. Now I have my mothers old treadle. I use it almost daily.

My goal here in myLot is to reach the minimum payout amount. the sooner within the month, I reach it, the better for me.
As for normal means of entertainment, I mainly stick to reading books and answering crossword puzzles and find a word books.

I usually have at least 3 books on my night table. One of them at least is one I have read and liked a lot.

I have the idea that this company has sold more than what it has to offer.
