How many Languages do You Speak?

It all started in the second year of middle school. It was the love of adventure that took me there. I was not heading to a jungle but to the world of languages. I reading some French short stories. I didn't like French. However, it has a special style too. I studied it for more than 10 years; in primary school, middle school, high school and the first two years at the university. despite having a biology and geology high school degree, I left all that science and maths behind and took another adventure, English. English opened many gates in front of me. the English linguistic's degree that I had from the university pushed me towards translation and then discovering other languages. Now I speak fluently at least four languages and have many basics of others. So how many languages do you speak?

I speak Italian and English fluently. I studied French and Spanish at school but didn't practice them when I left, but they're similar to my mother tongue, so I usually understand most of them (written French being easier than spoken one), and I can still write or say some basic sentences. I know a very little of Finnish too.

@belmeros Italian is quite useless, not as spoken as English, French or Spanish. Unless you're into Italian music or literature.

@lovinangelsinstead21 No, it's not Spanish. My native language is Berber also( usually called Amazigh or Tamazight). It is the language of native peoples spoken in north Africa.

@fearjp one of the most things that I enjoyed is learning other languages. It becomes as a hobby for me. And it allows me to discover many cultures not only learning languages.

@belmeros It can definitely be good to know more than one language. We're sending my eldest to a school with 60% French and 40% English. We think it may be good for them.

I tried learning French from a phone app but didn't have the patience. I stopped after awhile. I studied Spanish back in College but only for two semesters and that was it. I learned Korean from my students. English is our official language but Tagalog is our national language, but I speak our own dialect Hiligaynon which is different from our national language.
