Annoying mowing sound

This is not good. I understand that everyone has his own time to do something for the day. However, this is quite annoying since my neighbor had been mowing for the past 2 hours on and off, I think he was taking a break in between. The sound of the lawn mower is just distrubing and annoying. I could not concentrate on typing out post here. Gets distracted.
What sound distract you the most?

I dislike the lawn mowing too. It's annoying but my neighbors don't stop and then start up again. They just do it until it's done. I think your neighbor taking breaks, stopping and then starting again, would be more annoying. If my windows are closed and I turn up the radio a little I can't hear the mower very much. If I'm asleep I hear nothing.

@prashu228 Anything is better than listening to a lawn mower. I canceled my TV service years ago so all I have is the internet and a radio. Otherwise I'd probably turn the TV up. But the radio is fine. Too much junk on TV that I'm not interested in paying for.
