So to kick this off, I thought I would choose a minor character from a ridiculous movie, that being "Zoolander 2".   In case you didn't know - "Zoolander" and it's sequel "Zoolander 2" follow the main character Derrick Zoolander - who is a top male fashion model known for his signature facial expressions he calls "looks".  Zoolander has been king of the hill for many years until enter Hansel, an up and coming male model.  The two fight to begin with, but then discover they have a lot of similarities.  Zoolander discovers that there is more to life than looks as he strives to be a better educated, smarter person. The end of the first movie shows us that he marries and opens a center for kids who are "kids who can't read good and want to do other stuff good too".  In the second movie Derrick and Hansel return to male modeling after a long hiatus  -  to discover that they are outdated or are "old" and "lame".  Laughs ensue since Derrick and friends don't know too much about the world other than fashion and modeling.  Enter : Don Atari - in "Zoolander 2"  Atari is the newest , hottest - current male model.  He sports the modern look, modern lingo, and modern body language that evade Derick and Hansel.  He speaks in contradictions and weird slang.   Why I like him: To me - Don Atari is much like the rest of the people in my age demographic.  They speak in weird slang and sometimes contradictions and I'm almost as clueless as Derrick and Hansel on how to reply.  Great Don Atari scene, watch it and maybe you'll be the "centerpizzle of the incrediball", Don't watch it and risk being all nar nar boo boo.  "That stuff's bananas Johnny..." :
Derek and Hansel are lured into modeling again, in Rome, where they find themselves the target of a sinister conspiracy. Zoolander 2 scene where Derek Zoolan...

@FayeHazel , that I can believe. Luckily my friends and I stick to normal English and slang, but I do find some slang hilarious. :)

"Nar nar boo boo" -- I don't know that one, either ... lol. I don't know anyone who speaks exactly like this - but I know some people who talk entirely different - odd slang, phrases I'm not familiar with, it's... interesting to say the least trying to respond

I always thought Zoolander was actually about a zoo. Obviously, I haven't seen it.

Heh heh, nope, not this time. Satire of fashion industry though. :-) Though there is a TV show called Zoo - that's about animals actually -- I want to check that one out
