Would you buy condo or flat? Which is better?

It depends on what you can afford, and what you need.
First of all, congratulations on being close to getting married!
Pros of condo: you save on central heating, it's a bit more protected than a detached house.
Cons of condo: there are rules, no noise (except your neighbors who are going to be noisy), no pets (some allow them, others don't); if the elevator doesn't work and you live on the 8th floor, good luck.
I would prefer a house with a garden, far from the city if possible.

@khaezi So is it dangerous for the cat to go outside? Sure, you can't leave her behind.
Cats will try to go out, whether you're in a detached house or in an apartment.
I doubt she's noisy and unwanted in a condo, but in both cases you need to be careful.
She can flee to the garden, or fall from a window/balcony in an apartment.

Hey there! So I wonder which one did you buy. There are different kinds of condos nowadays. You can buy a unit in high rise ones or midrise ones and a resort-type one at that.
