If I could actually afford it, I would get me a new Samsung Galaxy phone

It's not that I don't like cell phones, but it's more like, I just can not afford one.
I can barely afford a simple Tracfone. The Tracfone I own is an LG that I bought for under 20 bucks and pay only 20 dollars or so plus sales tax, every 90 days to keep my old unused minutes and add 60 more minutes from the card to it to keep the phone current and updated.
The only thing that is hard is text messaging on it. I can't really do that well but for the basic phone just to use to call and talk on my phone is actually a very very smart phone, even though it is not an Apple iphone or even a Galaxy 8 Samsung wireless phone, and I am happy I don't have to pay 50 to 60 dollars a month just to call and say, "I'm gonna be late getting home, stuck in rush hour traffic."
You know if they could lower the rates per month to about 20 bucks and let you pay for the phone upfront, then maybe, just maybe I would think about it but not even then because I don't text. I type stuff on a full size keyboard and don't really like those tiny buttons or virtual buttons on the touch screen phones.
I like my Windows 10 desktop PC. So for me, I can afford not to own the new Samsung Galaxy phone but for those interested in knowing what this type of phone is and what it can do and what it costs to get you one, just follow the link below:

We have several internet packages lasting one up to 3 months. Providers compete with one another offering the best services like 3G, 4G.4G is the fastest but doesn't reach all areas.

I have the iPhone 6 plus. Here we can opt to have the data plan or not. I didn't take the data plan. I only have the calling plan. You don't need a data plan if you live on an idsland. It is not beneficial. I just connect to my WiFi at home.

Only one or two people in my office have iPhone 7 Plus. It's the most expensive smart phone. Don't know what is so special about it.

@yanzalong I have it to keep in contact with my daughter. Considering I live in Tahiti and she lives in the US it is the cheapest way to talk to her though facetime.

I only have the internet plan and it is 4G services. So fast, and at the same time, I download a social media app which has calling service with your friends. So there is no need for calling plan. And we could send voice message to our friends. Web, blogs, shoppings, etc, these all meet with my need.
Of course, I connect it with WIFI. And I pay less than 9 bucks monthly bill.
I use Huawei smart cellphone. It values for money. Couldn't know why my surroundings use iPhones most.
