Hi Friends,
Recently I visited Thailand, Bangkok for work purpose for a week. My husband and kid also joined me. Even though we could not explore much due to my work commitments I tell you it was an awesome experience.
People are very friendly and helpful. I dint feel I was in different country. I just felt I am in different state of India. Language was the barrier we had but since people knows English it was not too difficult.
I have a plan to visit Thailand again with family just for tourism. Thai friends suggest me the places.

I hope I could travel Thailand this winter so avoiding the overheat weather. Is English popular there? If they couldn't communicate with you in English, how to do? With an electronic translator?

Most of them communicate English. So not an issue. We can manage. I dint use any translator.

Exactly Sree!! I even ventured out to a local market alone 2 times. Enjoyed nice shopping too.
