I need your help: what to do to my baby

I badly need help

I need help. I need to know how can I avoid my baby from playing the milk all over the floor. My 2-year old normally spills most or all of his milk from the bottle to everywhere else. It makes the floors wet, couches soggy and pillows yucky. He spills it everywhere: tables, chairs, etc. It's a good thing he haven't spill into any electronics yet. If I take away the bottle,he cries very loudly. I can't just stare at him the entire time scolding him not to do it. Do you have any suggestions?

Maybe if you could stay with him so he cannot spill it.

I kinda felt guilty about leaving him alone, sometimes I'm not at home. I'm a working mom. My in-laws are the ones taking care of him

@TiarasOceanView I will let them know to at least stay beside him when they feed the baby. There was once a time when the baby stepped out from our house without them knowing and my toddler crossed the street already. Good thing the neighbors saw him and sent him back home.

Make a habit of drinking milk with your help. Then encourage him to play with toys rather than milk bottle. When he cries, divert his attention to some other things. Parenting is not an easy job but you learn it from your own experiences.

I'll keep it in mind to guide him while he feeds on the bottle. Thanks a lot :)

@resy21curapika There is nothing to worry, children do this way, that is why they are called as children. But a mother can guide him well and make him obedient with her love and affection.

That's really a problem. Don't let him play with the bottle. He may not know yet what he is doing. Always watch him when he drinks milk. Don't leave him alone or hold the bottle yourself

You hold the bottle of milk when he is drinking. When he is behaving well, you can give him a toy or you wil play with him.

I guess I can do it when I'm around then. Thanks for your help. My only problem is when I am not around, he tends to do it when I'm not looking at him

@resy21curapika so, you only have to give the milk when you are around watching.

He started doing it when he saw his elder brother doing it. The eldest stop it eventually at 2 years old but my youngest still continues to do it even after he turned 2
