Hello, Everyone! I have not been on here for a while since starting back at school. We are now in the 3rd week and I have my first test coming up this Friday. I have printed my first photograph for my first project for photography. I only have three more to print now. I have my paper work for graduation all filled out and ready to turn in on Thursday when I have my meeting with the registrar. I am mostly posting this because one of my photography friends shared a link on her Facebook last week about a website called Viewbug. It is a website where photographers of all kinds can submit photos into their monthly contest and have people vote on them. There are three winners for each contest and one of them is the grand winner. The awards they give out for grand winners are things like camera bodies, lenses, free classes on different photography skills, etc. The other two winners just get points and certain access to things on the website. I have entered 10 contest so far I believe and one of them just went into voting today. Another good thing about the website is that I can post my photos for sale on there. The website takes care of the printing, shipping, and all of that for and they get a cut of what it is selling for it. I'm obviously not making as much from the selling as they will be but it is still a good way to get my photos out there. All the payment is done through Paypal and I keep the rights to all of my photos that I post and even the ones I sell. I know some websites don't let the photographer keep their rights to it if they want to post them on their website or sell through their website. I have already gotten some views and likes for some of my photos.
