Isn't power outage, the most frustrating thing in 21st century?

It does put a hold on a few things we would ordinarily do. But I have found that it also makes us realise how dependent we are to this thing called electricity.
It made me realise that I need to have hobbies and interests with which I can occupy my time with when there is power outage.
You can try find some yourself.... it might help.

when it's unannounced, yes. we had one the other day (which was a surprise) and it lasted almost an hour (which was another surprise).

That's true. Why not consider having solar in your home? I solar still expensive in your country?
