I stopped by the thrift store on the way home from running errands in town and actually scored some pretty great deals.
I am not a huge clothes shopper, but I do like finding stuff I like at thrift stores. I found two shirts, one for Halloween that says "I am the treat" on it in glow in the dark letters, and another one that has a cute little saying on the back and is for the local middle school here.
I also picked up five dvds for $1.50 each. I got:
-Hitch
-A Beautiful Mind
-Cats and Dogs
-Dodgeball
and
-How to Loose a guy in Ten Days
I also got Harley dog four stuffed animals. We try to get them at the thrift store so its not a biggie when she destroys them. Of course she insisted on bringing them all to bed tonight. Lol.
Probably the best deal I got on this trip to the thrift store was the $2.00 bag of books. I got fourteen books in the bag, making it the most successful bag of books I've gotten so far. I got:
-Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy
-Soapsuds by Finola Hughes
-True Believer by Nicholas Sparks
-Queen of the Road by Doreen Orion
-To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
-The Poison Tree by Erin Kelly
-Flabbergasted by Ray Blackstone
-Not tonight Honey by Susan Reinhardt
-Tribulation Force by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins
-Nicolae by Tim LAHaye and Jerry Jenkins
-Soul Harvest by Tim LAHaye and Jerry Jenkins
-Let's Dough It
-Let's Dough it again
And a John Grisham book for a friend.
I also got a blender bottle. I got all these goodies for $18.17. So all in all I think I did pretty good.
Have you gotten any good deals at the thrift store or anywhere else recently?

I thought I did pretty good. Depending on the weather tomorrow I may try to stop by on the way in to work tomorrow and get another bag. Are you reading anything good these days? @JohnRoberts
