This is one of my favorite quote or passage. I have been a good girl since my teenage years. I tried to be obedient and responsible. I never cause headache to my parents. I studied hard and do well and school. I make my family convert to Born Again Christian religion. I serve God in the church but still I wonder why He didn't give everything I want in this life. I thought my life will be perfect because I'm very religious person.
Some say God works in mysterious ways. He will sometimes not give us what we want maybe because he have other plans in our life and he knows what is best for us. I should still be thankful despite many unanswered prayers.

I believe that, for some, the best will only be granted to them when they pass from this life. And for the truly religious, true believers, this is sometimes enough. I think that we just have to do the right thing, live a good and honest life and trust in God. Some people want riches, but riches aren't always money to everyone. Some people are poor but they have love and family and faith and this to them is what makes them rich.

Maybe God has something better to give to us than power, money, riches, strength. He maybe teaching us to wait for them and he has the right time giving these to us. Maybe we may forget about him if he gives so much blessings at once

@averygirl72 That's quite true. Very interesting perspective. 
I'm sure there are those that have forgotten about God after they got rich. Money can corrupt very easily. If we continue to pray for things we will never forget about God.

There's no such thing as a perfect life in this world. You wouldn't long for heaven if everything is prefect for you here. People who say their life is perfect are liars.
