Can bamboo plants be maintained at home for more than 6 months? / myLot

I had 3 bamboo plants at home. But after changing water regularly, getting little sunlight I could not maintain them for more than 6 months. I saw the stems getting yellow after sometime and the leaves falling off. Can bamboo plants be maintained for more than 6 months in home conditions?

I think so. Here some people will have this plant at home. And I can see that they can grow even for years as long as you can take good care of it. I think they don't need more sunshine.

Thanks youless I dont give too much sunshine. Problem is some stems take most of the water and make the other stems yellow.
