Marital Advice

I'm getting married in February 2018. He's extremely close to his family as am I with mine. But somehow we aren't comfortable with each other's family (immediate in laws). But we don't want it to affect us. Advice? Any?

Why aren't you comfortable with the inlaws? Did something happen between everyone? Or just not into being close with them

I've seen how in laws affect relationships and prefer to keep to myself as a result. I love them just from a distance

@CCMITCHELL you can't base how things will be with yours off how others are. As there's plenty of great relationships with peoole and their in laws
