Cleveland Police are angry at the Cleveland Browns football team

Just when I thought that the National Football League (NFL) players learned their lesson that kneeling down or sitting down during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner before the start of football games would have consequences, Steve Loomis who is the President of the Cleveland Patrolmen's Association has announced that the policemen and policewomen on the force will not be holding the American flag at the start of the first football game between the Browns versus the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 10, 2017.
Loomis is angry that the Cleveland Browns management did not punish the Browns football players for kneeling down during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner during the preseason games.
I guess the old saying is true "Football players are not exactly the brightest bulbs in the rack."

The trainer should make the players do what they should. There is no player in the world so important that they can do whatever they wish.

@Deepizzaguy I agree. And police around is very important for the safety of the players.

Respect law enforcement since they watch the backs of the players at sports arenas.

It is a slap in the faces of law enforcement by a few ungrateful football players. I do not blame the police for taking this action against the Browns.

Perhaps we can look forward to another season of lower NFL ratings.
