The Battles Have Begun

We have a really close family. We even get along with most of the in-laws. We go to church together. We have weekly family gatherings. Some of us even work together. We fight for each other. If someone takes on one of us, they have to take on all of us. That is- - - until it comes to football. It is then we are a divided family. We fall into 3 categories: Auburn fan, Alabama fan, and don't care. We who do not care are considered traitors. Auburn and Alabama fans root for each other until it is time for those two teams to play each other. This game is known as the Iron Bowl and battle lines are drawn. This game does not happen until November, but the two teams are already in fight mode and they are obnoxious. But oh how I love my crazy, football loving family.
