Right now, I really want to go back to school and continue my masters but the situation is complicated now because I have a 2-year old baby whom I am taking care of. Also, I am having a second thought of leaving my baby to someone else while I am at school. Anyone here who has the same situation? Please advice. Thanks!

If you can't find somone to help you, then you can see whether there is a kindgrten will accept your baby. Here usually three years old child can go to the kindgarten. When your baby is in the kindergarten, then at least you have your own time to study. Of course it is not easy since you need to take care of your baby after he/she is home.

@maximaoliveros Perhaps wait for several months and when your baby is fine to go to the kindergarten?

that's a great idea. however in our place, kindergarten to babies as young as mine is unavailable. my option is to leave my baby with relatives or a nanny. but my relatives are also busy. so i was left with the last option of leaving him with a nanny, which i am not comfortable with the idea.

If only you have someone trusted enough to leave your baby then everything would be easier.
Maybe wait for the right time til your child is old enough to go to school and you will get the chance to continue your studies too.

I don`t have the same situation like yours but I guess , I can share some points, I think you can leave your baby in a day care centers near the school you wanted to have your Masters so you can easily get the baby after class or check during your breaktimes

Hi there! Thanks for those points. That is good if there is a day care center here, but unfortunately, none. Because of that, my option is to leave my baby with his nanny, which is very difficult on my part. Maybe, i also have a separation anxiety with my baby, whom I love dearly.

I'd look into getting a close family member to look after my child if I was in your situation. You will be taking your master's degree which will further help you in your career so that in turn will help you and your family. Make the sacrifice now to earn the rewards later in life.

@maximaoliveros you're a parent, that hesitation to leave one's child in the care of another person is normal. Listen to your gut feel, it is usually correct.

yes exactly. what i want to do is also for my family's future, not just for myself. i hired someone to help me in taking care of my baby right now. but, i am not comfortable leaving him with the nanny. Do you think I am just being overprotective?

Thanks @prashu! I am really determined to go back to school. Though, it becomes difficult now because I already have a small baby that I need to take care of 24/7. I hope I can find a way to do it.

unfortunately, they are also working and/or busy with their own kids. my mother can help me out sometimes maybe, but i cannot require her to do it regularly because i am also worried with her health.

I wanted to go back to school too and practiced another profession. Have you tried online schooling? I have tried it but I wasnt able to finish any course online that I enrolled in because I dont get motivated. Going to school is still better than enrolling online. The feeling is completely different.
