Walk Barefoot

I read in one post in Facebook that it is healthy if you walk barefoot on the ground once in a while. It said that walking barefoot enhances the lymphatic system, like when the feet are being massaged. It said that it is best to walk on rough surfaces, like sand or stone. So I tried doing it, walking on gravel which I asked my husband to spread in one part of our yard. It hurts, but it felt good too. It is also one of the activities I do to ease boredom, aside from walking.

I walk on clean, rough surfaces inside our yard. The reason I made a small stone walk in our garden.

Walking barefoot is indeed good. i train barefoot sometimes but only in an artificial turf. You just have to be careful after getting scratches and wounds on your foot.

besides too, walking barefoot will encourage our body to checking the temperature-regulating center of our brain in testing the hotness or coldness of the floor, soil sand, mud, or cement.

Yes, but I prefer walking on sand or stones which are cleaner compared to walking on soil. It can be on the grass too!

I read about that too - but you don't have to walk on stone, the same benefits can be reaped from any earthy surface.

Yes, it helps a lot. But whenever I stepped out home I never forget to wear my foot wear. I walk on barefoot on visiting temple.

Personally, as a bare footed person most of the time, I urge you to be careful. I currently need to go to Xray to find out what is in my foot. It will not discourage me as I hate wearing shoes and only do so if I have to. By your reasoning I should be super healthy. I wish..

I rarely go barefoot, unless I enter a home where I found that people were leaving their slippers/shoes outside, to show respect.

While I am at home; I often go around barefoot. For several years; I would do a lot of walking outside barefoot. I like how the dirt and gravel feel on my bare feet.

It is nice to walk on sand, stones, or rough pavement which has massaging effect on the feet soles. I do not like walking on soil, but if it has grass, it's better.
