Doggie Trouble

If you were to hit a dog with your car, wouldn't you want to stop and see if it was hurt regardless of what time it was? Well, apparently this couple drove 55 miles; got out of their car and THEN realized there was a dog trapped in the grill of the vehicle. Apparently while travelling, there were 2 dogs in the road. The guy swerved to miss them but hit 1 of them. This was a 2 am. Did they stop to check? Nope. Can you imagine how terrified that dog was? It did turn out okay though as an animal agency got the dog and has him up for adoption after he recovers from minor injuries. The dogs name now is Grits. http:/

oh my thats terrible. yes i would try and get help for it. although if i didn't have a man with me that time of night, not sure i would trust to touch or go too near the dog. my dad had wild dogs come on his property that bit if anyone got too close. he left food out for them but warned me never try and touch them

I don't know @TiarasOceanView but apparently they don't have any animals of their own; which is probably a good thing.

And I wonder if he was a stray to begin with or if he belonged to somebody in the flood zones @Tampa_girl7 .

Oh goodness, that poor dog! I'm glad it's okay for the most part and will find a home once it's recovered.
