We were taught in the 1970s and maybe even later, to avoid saturated fats.
So many ate foods that became a problem. To avoid fats, many ate carbs, and actually became overweight, and got lots of other health problems.
Latest research says the opposite to what we have been taught.

Things have changed a lot during the years, and we were earlier warned for fats, but it seems good fats may be helpful.. Better follow the research and see what it leads to..

I can't open the link above.Sometimes we don't know whose advice we should follow.I think we can't go to extremes when it comes to what we should eat or not.

Well, Perhaps it is not possible in every country.. I can open it here. The research was interesting - at least it is well known that sugar is harmful and we need good fats..

Scientists constantly find new things to prove that something may be wrong. Things which you read as right this year, may be proved differently the next year. There were years when our science textbooks were changed due to some new discoveries, only to be changed back suddenly a couple of months later when they found the new discoveries were wrong. (At the price of about a hundred dollar a textbook, we were truly angry!)

Things have been changed many times, and often due to earning lots from new foods and medicines.. I guess Big Pharma does not want us to stop buying the medicines, even if there are simple solutions and natural ways to stay healthy.
It can be smart to see how the foods affect people, who stay healthier than most others. Those who eat coconut oil have hardly any heart problems.. compared to those with the western diet with lots of sugar.. Perhaps better test on ourselves, how we feel..
