It's Too Overwhelming

I woke up at 11am yesterday to a text from Lucie (daughter's boyfriend's mother who is recovering from a bad car accident last fall) saying she would be at my house at noon to take me shopping for decorating our bedroom. She said we have to pick the bedding first and work from there. I had to take a piece and picture of my bedroom furniture with me. Our furniture is big and overpowers the room and it's oak. People suggested painting it but there is no way I was going to ruin that natural wood that has no flaws in it after 21 years.
I was just eating my oatmeal when she showed up at my door. We went from Winners to Home Depot, to Homesense, to Winners and back to Home Depot. It was exhausting and overwhelming but we came home with the new bedding, the paint, and the sample of the floor we chose. I'm excited at what the result will be but still overwhelmed.
Also internet issues have been a problem for weeks. I finally got someone who knew and cared and figured the problem out as to why my internet keeps dropping. A technician is coming today to replace a worn out wire. When? Between 12 and 5. Will I get to go to 5pm mass? I don't know. Don't have a car today either.
Church lector schedule that I put together has been delayed and now I'm panicking over that. I haven't cooked a meal in over a week. My house is a mess. We're basically going to be broke after this reno. And I'm tired. Very, very tired. Stress will do that to a person. That's why I say I would prefer to go away and come back after the work is all done. LOL!
Most people could handle stuff like this but with my health issues I can't. Just confirms that I couldn't work at a job.
Just got a notification that technician is on the way. Let's get that out of the way and out of my head. Then laundry....ugh!

I thought the first thing to do is paint the ceiling, then do the walls, then the floor...
I hope you got to church and got something out of it.

We don't put the floor down yet but we have to remove the baseboards and carpet so we can paint all the way down. Then we're getting new baseboards. Flooring will go in last so that any accidents won't ruin the new floor. And yes, I got to church.. Thanks.

I need some major work done here by me also. And I am not a handy person at all. Believe me. I need a pro to do the work. But for now I have to live with things the way they are. Money is not there to get someone to fix up. I hope you get your bedroom done without stress and I also hope you enjoy it.
