I don't know how many Alabama people are on mylot, but if you are from Alabama or traveling through the southern parts of Alabama, Lamberts is a restaurant you want to try.
Lambert's Cafe, home of the thrown roll, is located in Foley, Alabama near Orange Beach. We stop by there on our way home every time we go to Orange Beach. The food and service is amazing. You have to be careful, because it is easy to get filled up on appetizers. The waiters/waitresses come around constantly to give refills of okra, peas, macaroni & tomatos, and apple butter. They also serve fresh yeast rolls. The fun thing is that they throw the rolls to the customers. You raise your hand, and they throw them to you.
The rest of the menu consists of many choices of southern foods. I have never encountered friendlier service.
Obviously, this restaurant would get a 10 out of 10. Actually, it should get higher than a 10.

What happens to the rolls when the customer wasn't able to catch the rolls?

@gnatsmom yeah, rolls that are not caught and just thrown away are a waste in my opinion. Considering that hunger is still prevalent in other parts of the world, I hate to see food wasted.

Restaurants are what travelers are after when they get exhausted. Another one is a place to hit the hay in: I mean hotels or inns; possibly the cheap ones, as true travelers have to economize on their spending.
