Do you listen to your local station radio talk show? I found that Singapore Radio Talk Show is comical especially early in the morning when 3 DJ talked about the daily lifestyle, habits of consumers with clean jokes.
Radio DJs also conduct quizzes for participants to call in, guess the answers and win vouchers or freebies as a consolation prizes. Most of the participants are young working people or housewives who gave bewildered answers, beyond my imagination.
I found that morning talk show is a refreshing way to brighten up Monday blues away and enhance your knowledge on certain topics that you might not even know.
I listen to 98.7FM Mediacorp , Singapore radio station, what about you?

That is a good question. I asked a vet of ours once but do not remember the answer. I am just guessing, but, maybe that helps sooth them when they are home alone and they have some kind of background for them. I am not sure if that is right, but, that is my guess.

After the alarm goes off, I listen to the radio to kind of wake up my brain and listen to what they have to say and then listen to the news and after get out of bed. Most of the time it's quite interesting!

Once in awhile I will listen to Minnesota Public radio (MPR) but not often. You're right some of those radio shows are entertaining and informative
