John Adams was the second president of the United States, serving from 1797 to 1801. Prior to that, he served as vice-president, ambassador to France, ambassador to Great Britain, and revolutionary leader. His passion for freedom is inspiring and contagious, even hundreds of years later. His most notable accomplishments were 1. successfully defending British soldiers involved in the Boston massacre 2. negotiating the Treaty of Paris in 1783 3. inspiring the American Revolution 4. negotiating peace in the Quasi war 5. contributor to America's founding documents In John Adams, we see a man of integrity, honesty, determination, and morality. Reading his story can inspire us to fight for what we believe, uphold the law, practice righteous living, and cherish & defend freedom. As one can see, John Adams is a historical figure that I admire and aspire to be like.

@gnatsmom His son was not lucky with the two older sons. Sad! Glad that you wrote this post.
