Everything you've wanted to know about -- me! (Or at least 10 of the things)

There's this challenge going around right now where people are posting random facts about themselves so MyLotters can get to know each other better. I figured I'd jump in too.
1. The village where I grew up was featured in a banned episode of The X-Files.
2. Jimmy Stewart and I went to the same elementary school (not at the same time, of course).
3. I have an aversion to custard.
4. When I was 5 years old, I had a big metal beam dropped on my head while playing in a barn. It bled like crazy! I still have the scar on my scalp.
5. My face is on the back of a Rollins Band album cover.
6. I have a bridge phobia.
7. I still own the teddy bear (in the above picture) that my dad bought for my 11th birthday. His name is Prince Philip.
8. One of my very first paying jobs was selling shoes. I was laid off when the company went bankrupt after 35 years of business.
9. There's an apocryphal story regarding my family, a famous groundhog, and dinner.
10. The first concert I ever went to was to see They Might Be Giants in 1990. The Jack Rubies opened up for them.

@DianneN For what it's worth, that picture was taken before the youngest was born, and on a day when the stepkids were at their mom's... so I'm probably more rested there than I am these days.

Yes, it could have been much, much worse. I didn't even get stitches. I remember all the blood and the very concerned adults trying to clean me up, but we didn't go to the doctor. I was staying with a family we knew from church at the time, as my parents were out of town.

It wasn't that album, it was End Of Silence. I was in the front for part of Rollins Band's show at the first Lollapalooza.
My face (part of it, anyway) is next to the guy with the yellow hat, right below the word "IMAGO".
