I am just starting to wonder if the management of the New York Yankees will take the advice of Major League Baseball and put a net to the far end of the dugouts to protect fans from getting hit by line drives from batters during baseball games?
During the Minnesota Twins versus New York Yankees baseball game on Wednesday, New York Yankees infielder Todd Frazier hit a line drive toward third base that struck a young female fan in the bottom of the fifth inning.
The name of the young girl was not released by the Yankees management due to privacy issues.
It is sad to see a young fan get struck by a line drive hit by a baseball player in any baseball stadium.
The injured fan was taken to a local hospital in New York City but her condition remains unknown at this time.
Hopefully all teams in the Major Leagues will put up protective nets around the dugout areas to prevent such accidents if they care for the safety of their fans.

It seems there have been more of this type of injury this season.
