The first movie that the late actor Christopher Reeve did in 1978 called "Superman The Movie" which ran for almost two and a half hours in theaters. The extended version of the first of four Superman movies will be a two disc DVD and will run just past three hours in length with footage that was not in the original version of the movie. The first "Superman: The Movie" was good but the sequels "Superman II" and "Superman III" were better. "Superman IV: The Quest For Peace" which was the last movie Reeve starred in was average at best but it was a heck of a lot of better than "Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice". We can thank Warner Brothers executives for giving us the extended version of the first Superman movie that came out in 1978.

Those early Superman movies were good entertainment. Al the recent superhero movies suck. You've seen one, you've seen them all.

I really like the Superman - the first movie and Christopher Reeve were too hot and handsome.
