There is no harm mixing your coffee with sugar. In fact coffee with sugar tastes better. Some people who are afraid of using much sugar mix their coffee with only one or two cubes of sugar, while other may use more than 3 cubes. Not using sugar in your coffee is related to reduction of coffee antioxidant not due to sugar worsening one's diabetes. Bottom line: Coffee without sugar is superb, making your body healthy and your mind alert.

Would much rather have tea, if I were to have anything black. Coffee is way too bitter. I would much rather enjoy a drink of coffee than depend on it.

Actually, I love my coffee with sugar as well but considering that sugar is not good for health, especially if we mix it with a lot of sugar, I try hard to limit the sugar or without sugar

It is more expensive here in Indonesia. Green tea does not reach village areas.

You'll be used to sugarless coffee if you reduce the amount of sugar bit by bit until it is completely without sugar.

I can't agree with you because black coffee is just too bitter for me I don't like tasting anything bitter. It is just like the traditional Chinese herbs In fact I need to add sugar and milk inside the coffee so that it will be a perfect coffee for me

Yes, it is a matter of preference. I am just trying to inform that sugar will reduce the quality of antioxidant in coffee. I sometimes use sugar, especially milk in my morning coffee.
