Netflix has the live action movie that was done last year I believe. I had the opportunity to watch it this evening. Delightful. There were two new songs that weren't in the original animated movie and a couple additional scenes. It was like watching the animated version in live action.
Emma Watson was perfect for Belle. The actor who played Gaston played him to a T, as did the actor for LeFou. All the players were very good. I didn't see any mention of awards, but it certainly deserves them. As I was watching the credits I also saw a couple other familiar faces from favorite movies. Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts. I'm sure you know other actors in this movie, but I was unfamiliar with them.
The musical numbers were awesome. Especially Be Our Guest. If any song cinematography should win an award, that song should have. Tale as Old as Time was also very well done. All the songs were.
Netflix doesn't have a star rating system any longer, but if I could have, I would have given this 5 stars. Well deserved. I would have given it two thumbs up if possible, instead, I could only give it one.
Have you seen the live action movie? What did you think of it? Thanks for reading.

Absolutely LOVE the live action. Made me feel like a kid again with nostalgia. The whole cast and musical numbers were beyond amazing. It certainly did deserve a reward.

Yes, Valerie we did see this version of Beauty and the Beast. It was wonderful, as was the first animated movie, also. I was so happy, they took the time to do it over again, even better than before! It's actually one of our favorites, we loved it, too

@kobesbuddy Yes it is. I haven't seen it often, but once you see it, it's hard to forget it.
