Cliche #1: Money can't buy...

We have all heard the cliche' "money can't buy happiness". I understand the point being made with this statement. We are to value people over things, and I do; I really do. However, I disagree with the cliche'. It takes money to survive. I promise; I am much happier when I have money to buy groceries, buy gas for my vehicle, and pay my bills, than when I can't pay the light bill or buy food to feed my family. What are some other cliches' in which the meaning is meant for good, but are not exactly true?

You have to make your own happiness. Money can not make you happy.

Money is like a catalyst to happiness to an extent especially when the source of the money is legitimate but if it otherwise you'll discover that you will never find internal happiness.

I know I would be much happier if I had a lot of money, in fact I wold be ecstatic! . There are plenty of cliches that aren't exactly true. How about 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger'. Ridiculous, tell someone who has survived an illness but become bedridden that! How about 'Cheats never prosper' .. I bet there are some that do!

Money just enhances happiness for some. I have to have the money to pay my bills. After that it is nice to have extra.
