From the 60s through the 90s Beatles to the 2010's Popular music of JB and LG.
It has been proven scientifically that the music of the 20th Century was vastly superior to the music of the current decade.
I agree.
But don't take my word for it, look at this YouTube video and you will learn a lot more about How music today has become the lesser of what once was the ultimate time period of music, back in the late Twentieth Century.
Talk about hitting rock bottom after being on an all time high.
If only you had been living during what I term The Golden Age of Music, back in the days of my youth, between the big band and up to the New Age, a time of apparent transition reached it's highest period in the 90s then began to take a death spiral.
And what about this song writer, Max Martin? He writes many of the lyrics to the songs of current pop singers and dozens of them are this musical song writer from Sweden.

Very true, I always say 90's was the last decade of consistent good music. I always say 90's were sneaky good where 60's and 70's was quite obvious. 90's was actually my favorite, but also when I was in my youth. So I am probably biased. 90's is also where you could see it coming with Backstreet Boys and stuff like that.

Yep. I thought I was about the only one who felt like this. But apparently science backs up both yours and my thinking about the downward direction and dumbing down of pop music in the current era.

As I was growing up I educated myself in the music of the 1950s and 60s and grew up with the music of the 70s and 80s. Still liked some music from the 90s but afterwards they sort of lost me. I still love to listen to my favorites and there is so much music out there that I still always find something new.
