A day off work - so much to do

I always find that when I have a day off work, I end up with a to-do list longer than if I had gone to work!
Cleaning and washing and tidying and dusting are all things that need to be done.
However, if I've booked myself a day off work, and if I have my house to myself (bliss!) for the day, don't I deserve to enjoy it??

You do deserve to enjoy it. The chores arent going anywhere, but time is. Go and enjoy your day offs!

You're right
It will be a sorry old state of affairs if I start booking time off work and using it to catch up on house jobs
