A day off work - so much to do

I always find that when I have a day off work, I end up with a to-do list longer than if I had gone to work! Cleaning and washing and tidying and dusting are all things that need to be done. However, if I've booked myself a day off work, and if I have my house to myself (bliss!) for the day, don't I deserve to enjoy it??

This happens. It is like even when we have a day off we have a lot of household stuff to complete.

I used to work seven days on and seven days off. And on two of those days of I had lots of things to do.
