Evacuations all over! / myLot

First it was evacuations because of hurricanes. Then this week there are evacuations in Bali, Indonesia with Mt. Agung and Ambae, Vanuatu with Mt. Manaro both threatening to erupt. It makes you wonder where will be next. I have never been evacuated, but I know many people from the northern part of Japan who were evacuated in 2011. Some of them lived at a Christian camp near me for almost a year before they could go back. Have you ever had to evacuate for natural or man-made disasters?

When I was very young kid, my parents are evacuating us everytime the typhoon come. Now we are not doing it, maybe because of sturdy house being built now.

but every municipality and city are required to have evacuation centers in our country. We are prone to typhoons, floods and earthquakes including wars and evacuation center is a must for local government unit.
