What About The Environment?

I was talking with a person recently who said and I quote: “There is no compelling historical evidence to support the idea that we are living in the “time of the end.” He said: “These things that we see going on in the world today, have been going on, without increasing intensity, thoughout all of recorded history.” So, I mentioned a few things to him. a. Forests are being stripped for commercial ventures b. Woodlands are being laid bare by the poor in search of fuel c. The underground water aquifer is being polluted by toxic waste from many different sources. Barrels of radioactive waste from nuclear energy plants are being buried in the ground and are leaking into the underground water. Oil well drilling (fracking) companies are pumping toxic waste water into the ground and polluting the underground water supply. d. Fishing has been ruined by industrial waste being emptied into rivers, streams, lakes and definitely the ocean. e. The air we breathe is being polluted by factories and vehicular exhausts. My granddaughter’s husband works for a company that cleans up toxic waste dumps. He is very concerned about what he knows to be true. These things have NOT been happening “throughout all of recorded history.” These things have only been happening in the last 100 or so years. There is no “historical record” of any of these problems in ancient times.” In Noah’s day, God’s concern was not toxic waste and pollution, when HE said that the “earth came to be ruined.” HIS concern was that “the earth became filled with violence.” And we certainly have that today. Many comparisons are made in the Bible with “the days of Noah” and “the time of the end.” God put an end to that violent world and NOW HE will do the same with this violent world today. Notice what it says at Revelation 11:18: This is the prophecy, that “the appointed time came…to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” God will fulfill this prophecy at HIS appointed time. In the meantime, we must wait for HIM to act. And Jesus said: “Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the Earth” but it will not be this violent, polluted Earth that we live in now. Psalm 37:9-11 says this: “For evil men will be done away with. But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the Earth. Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more. You will look at where they were, and they will not be there. But the meek will possess the Earth and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” This is a PROMISE from God. He has set a time to fulfill this promise and HE WILL do so. We must wait for that time to come and all the things that are going on in the world today indicate that that TIME is near. Whether you read the Bible or not, I urge you to watch this 3-minute video, to learn WHY this Earth is in such a mess, and what the future of this Earth will be.

When in the thousands of years of human history has mankind had nuclear bombs that could destroy a country? And bnow they are threatening to use them. Revelation 11:18 mentions that God would ruin those ruining the earth. Yes, te earth is being ruined! However, we know also that just like the flood most people would take no note until it wipes them out.

Most people realize that the world is in a mess, but they don't recognize that all of these things that are happening, were prophesied to happen. And that these signs actually MEAN something. They ignore the fact that this old wicked world is in its "last days." I think that Psalm 37:9-11 explains it well. Also, 2 Timothy 3:1-5 actually tells us that "in the last days, critical times hard to deal with will be here."

You are right about that! But, there's nothing FAKE about all the things that I have mentioned in this post. These things are really happening and everyone should take it as a WARNING!
