It is late for an after lunch nap, but then, my lunch was a very late lunch. I had a leftover King crab pie that I made once when I had visitors. I had this one left then and I froze it. Now, eating this pie, I started to think that I should buy food Iike King crab when it is not so expensive and freeze dishes ready to be thawed. Do you cook big batches and save some to thaw when you have visitors? picture from pixabay

Yes, I do cook more than needed for one meal and freeze the rest for later.

Not any more, but I use to cook large amounts, when we had more people around. Nobody eats here, since they moved three hours away from us.

I don't cook big batches or freeze anything to be eaten later. Although that would probably save me a lot of time and money if I did!

There is some funny dialogue in the "Cinderella" play we are doing about king crab. The king is talking about the dinner they will serve at the ball, and he says, "Don't serve any King Crab. It always seems like a comment on my disposition."
