water fills my head with random musings

Water, water, everywhere, Nor any drop to drink. Unless you're a cat, in which case you can drink from the puddles that form in the most unlikely places. Actually, if you're a cat you can drink salty seawater, or so I heard. Who was it who decided that the universal colour for DANGER!!! and STOP!!! had to be red? Why not purple or orange? Or even stripey, like a rainbow. That would certainly get the attention of everybody, except perhaps the colour blind. Outside World is somewhat busy this morning. The rain seems to wake people up earlier. They are keen to get to work and earn some money. My fellow bus passengers are a thoroughly uninspiring bunch today. Except for her, the woman in the yellow coat who just got on. She has the most amazing pair of spectacles, big and grey and shaped like cats eyes. Some people are so very cool. The Laughing Australian {or she may be a Kiwi, who knows, not I} is not so very cool. Quarter past seven in the morning is not a time for girlishly high-pitched silly giggles which fill the bus. Seriously, morning time is for miserableness and the slow dawning realisation that nothing exciting is going to happen. It's just another day, in a long line of other days, each one the same, yet different. And then we die. *smile*

@poppylicious I concur that morning is best experienced quietly and without undue levity.

It's a shame that other people don't share our morning ideals.

@xFiacre This is true. Besides, what would I have to grumble about if so?

That's life. Every morning I have to shuffle my feet to my office as it is almost impossible to go by bus. The road is so heavily congested. Luckily it's only 2.5 kms. I can make it in 30 minutes. Water? No water, at least not enough. I hasn't rained for many months. There are slight puddles on the road -- truck drivers stop for hours and it is the right time to pee. That's awful.

Oh, those do not sound like the sort of puddles I want my cats to drink from! I live twenty miles away from work so unfortunately walking isn't an option, but it would be preferable to sitting on a noisy bus. :)
