This book is on algorithms . also called as bible for computer science students. This book helps me in work outs. I use them as dumbles and also some times as a pillow. my first reaction after looking at this book is I will never be able to complete my degree Which is the biggest book ever you read?

When using it as a lifting weight or as a pillow, you should remember and give honour to the name of Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi the translation of whose works into Latin in the 12th Century introduced the decimal numbering system (and the concept of zero) to the Western World. His name gave us the word 'algorithm' and one of his methods for solving equations - that of breaking a complex unknown into several parts and then reuniting them to arrive at the answer - gave us the word 'algebra'. I seem to recall that the largest (or, at least, the thickest) book I ever looked at was a street directory of the whole of London bound into one volume. It was thicker than it was either wide or tall and one had to be exceptionally careful not to break it's spine when opening it!

Okay I don't think any book has mentioned this Muhammad ibn musa as a father or inventor of algorithms.so why should I believe it. You know Osama bin laden was a terrorist whole world believes it.

Ha ha nice. Did you have to read it for school? My biggest books were also college textbooks.
