Sonic The Hedgehog movie to be made by Paramount

Paramount Studios have gained the rights to make a "Sonic The Hedgehog" movie.
The "Sonic The Hedgehog" movie will be a live action motion picture mixed with CGI animation.
Sonic The Hedgehog is one of the most popular video games of all time that will be making its motion picture debut.
The movie will be produced by Neal M. Moritz, Tim Miller will be the executive producer of the movie and Jeff Fowler will be the director of the movie.
It will be refreshing to see a movie about a very popular video game character when the movie is released at a date that has yet to be determined by Paramount Studios.

Fond memories of this old Sonic hedgehog from when my son was a child. Wasn´t it a cartoon as well George if I remember right?
