The War Memorial in Manipur has many memories.

A beautiful War Memorial is created in Manipur around 30 kilometers away from Imphal. It was built in 1891. There are remains of Manipuri's battle of independence. Thereafter there are memories of 2nd World War where INA came to India with Japanese forces when India was under Colonial rule of the British.

My father was on those fields during the World War II. Fortunately, the war ended and he returned home. As a child I used to wonder what those army uniform, boots and overcoat in his box meant. Now, I understand better.
