Seems like this album has always been around.
I used to 'steal' it from my oldest sister way back when to listen to it, but I wasn't gonna go out and buy it...I was too busy buying Mountain and Grand Funk Railroad and Alice Cooper and such.
But every once is a while, I'd want to hear this...so I'd go snag it from my sister's room.
But then I got older, and I didn't live at home anymore, and eventually I had to get my own copy.
Because after all, it is that good.

Carole King is a woman, yet she was named King, not Queen. As per information availabe, her first album was Writer, which was very popular. But it was Tapestry which become Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance (Female) in 1972, "Smackwater Jack" was on side 2.

See, want more of this, I try to play music no on heard of that also is great music. This is cool. Tired of everyone just liking what we know so to speak. Good on you sir for showing something people never heard of at least do not think. i could be wrong.

I chose one of my more liked songs from it instead of using 'I Feel The Earth Move' which it seems almost everyone has heard.
But she sold 10 million copies of the album, so I guess a few people have...

Tapestry was a phenomenon it was such a huge selling album and "It's Too Late" was #1 for weeks.
