Favorite Industrial Songs #10 - "Buried Blessing"

As I usually do two music countdowns at the same time, it's time to begin another, focusing on my favorite industrial songs. #10 in the series? "Buried Blessing" by Controlled Bleeding. Controlled Bleeding has been at it since 1978 (and have released over 30 albums,) although of the classic lineup of Paul Lemos, Chris Moriarty, and Joe Papa, only Lemos is still living. From their 1989 EP, Songs from the Grinding Wall, "Buried Blessing" is a great example of the industrial dance music that the band was doing at that point, so good that their label at the time, Wax Trax!, named a compilation CD after the song. While a ton of industrial music can be harsh and abrasive, "Buried Blessing" is very listener friendly. I've linked to it below. Enjoy! (Info verified by Wikipedia)

They are from New York. Lemos is also in a group called Skin Chamber.

Definitely not what I think of when you say "industrial," or maybe I should say what industrial has come to mean.

It's a little tame compared to #1.

I too never heard of the band, but saw a comment that they have different sounds all the time, even folk and jazz. I liked this one.

I think you will know the rest. Was it the song that you don't know, or Controlled Bleeding?

@spiderdust - I first bought them because they were on Wax Trax. I find a lot of good stuff that way.

@teamfreak16 I didn't know the band, which somewhat surprises me. Or maybe I've heard the music before at a club and just couldn't identify it at the time.

In terms of fan base, they might as well be. Then there's darkwave, which is pretty much both combined.
