I just love Mandisa. Her music speaks to so many in just about every walk of life. Ever since her first cd, one of her songs has always been my favorite. Currently, it is unfinished. The song talks about being the one to always encourage others, to always point others to Christ, and to always be a healer; only to find out that you are the one in need of encouragement and healing. The song reminds us that no one has it all together. We all make mistakes and need help. We are unfinished, but we will pick ourselves up, give all to God, and seek His guidance. I often beat myself up for my mistakes. I hate it when I fail. But this song reminds me never to give up and know that in my unfinished state, God can transform.
