Here I am. Over here. Cooey! Yes. Here. I thought you were never going to find me. I'm at my MiLs house, cosied up in her spare bed. I don't actually like being cosied up here. It's not a fresh, airy, clean house. It is tidy, but honestly, some of the dust has been allowed to settle for nigh-on ten years. With a lick or two of paint it could be a pleasant little bungalow. Instead it's a frumpy grumpy magnolia walled pit of queasiness. It lacks va-va-voom. Every dwelling needs a smidgeon of va-va-voom ... Something bright and quirky which offers a homely happiness. Tomorrow she pops to Hospital at a most ungodly hour, leaving me to entertain Toddler Niece for the whole day on my own! Huzzah! We are going to have so much FUN doing what we want to do, instead of just doing what Nanna wants to do. Nanna likes to eat cake, visit the bank, the hairdresser and the chiropodist, and watch that blasted Peppa Pig get up to silly shenanigans. And Hospital? She's supposed to be having a stent placed in an effort to get her breathing properly again. She hasn't had any treatment for four weeks and she's coughing like nobody's business. She's also wheezing worse than ever. There's a small part of me which doesn't care. We told her time and time again to go the doctor and she never did. It's hard to feel complete pity for someone who lacks the motivation to get themselves seen when there's obviously something wrong.with them . A bit like me really. Sleepy head, nightie, nightie-head.

Very interesting. While I was reading that I was wondering is this real life or a page from a book you are reading?

@poppylicious I'm going to think about you and giggle next time I visit a "magnolia-walked out of queasiness" which is a regular occurance in my job.

@Poppylicious She doesn't have a dog that eats dog food straight off the floor where she scoops it out does she? Is the house overheated?
